Here are a few handy tips if you’re thinking of changing to a Vegan diet:

  1. Start with a few days eating vegan meals and then increase progressively. There will be dramatic changes to the body and if you’re not prepared you will give up in a short period of time
  2. Eat a healthy well balanced diet – this includes fruits, vegetables and whole foods. Keep in mind the Average Daily Energy intake is 8700kJ
  3. Keep fit during your vegan journey. According to the World Health Organisation, you should try to exercise at least 150 minutes each week
