Paleo Pure’s Superfood Smoothie is a thoughtfully designed blend of natural ingredients that provide broad-spectrum vegan nutrition in a delicious chocolate drink sweetened with low-calorie birch xylitol. Aside from flavour, the raw cacao also provides forty times the antioxidant power of blueberries, more calcium than milk, and high amounts of iron and heart- and brain-healthy magnesium. The powdered hemp is fully 50% protein, which is both bioavailable and complete (containing all 20 amino acids). The powdered MCT oil supplies saturated fat in the form of C8 and C10 medium-chain triglycerides that the liver converts quickly into energy. The mix is topped off with two wholefood plant powders: maca – highly regarded for its hormone regulation and energy-giving qualities – and lucuma, which is rich in beta-carotene, vitamin B3, and many important minerals.
